It’s been a while because I once again didn’t blog last week and I don’t know why. I did have a very busy weekend last weekend. The commander of the US coast guard band came and conducted us on our concert, which was really cool. We also had homecoming which was….long. So it was busy, but good. My parents also came into town which was nice, even though I barely saw them because I was gone all weekend lol. We had our first studio recital of the year Tuesday, which also went really well! I had finally gotten a chance to record a piece for a competition- which was a weird day, as I literally did it in one go which is never a thing, but I took it and am happy. But I played the same piece at the recital and I thought it went well.

This past weekend was also super busy for me. I drove home on Friday after class for the weekend. Saturday I drove with my dad down to Bowling Green where my sibling is at school to watch them in a show they got into (they’re an actor). That was a lot of fun, but also a super late night, as we drove back after their performance. Then on Sunday I played at their church, as my younger brother is about to go on a church mission, which was nice. After that, I saw a friend and then got back in my car to drive back to Morgantown…so I drove 5 hours every single day this weekend…I’m tired. But it was nice to see everyone.

This next week is pretty normal, though Halloween is apparently tomorrow (I forgot about it entirely) and we have a game this weekend. So it’ll be busy but what’s new? I think I wrote about it in my last post, but I am switching medications and the switch was a bit rough. The first few days I was super nauseous and dizzy (which was so fun with the football game and concert), but that has pretty much gone away now. I also had this weird thing where any small amount of exercise would make me loose my breath and get faint…that was so super fun :/ . I walked the same amount as usual, but found myself having to sit so I could breathe and not faint…I think that’s also gone away though which is obviously good. Mentally, I’m not really sure it’s doing much for me- which isn’t surprising. It’s a low dose right now, but I don’t feel like it’s helping or hurting any. Though I am definitely no where near as exhausted/tired as I was on my last medication, so it’s nice to have energy to make it through the day without a nap!!
