Description
Blue Outlands is at its core, a 12-bar blues, with the addition of a few bars, making it a touch abnormal. The piece is a duet between the live flute and the theremin, an arguably alien instrument. I imagine two aliens hanging out at an alien bar; think star wars. The planet they are on is strange, blue and orange colors marking the planet. They’re having a conversation at this alien bar together, they haven’t met but share many things in common. They’re sipping on their drinks, talking about life and being the cool blue aliens that they are.
